United States Savings Bonds
CorePlus Federal Credit Union is proud to offer the redemption of United States Savings Bonds for our members. As of January 1, 2012, paper savings bonds are no longer sold at financial institutions. This action supports Treasury's goal to increase the number of electronic transactions with citizens and businesses.
The U.S. Savings Bond Program has offered Americans a convenient and secure way to save since 1935. More than 55 million Americans own over $200 billion in savings bonds. The U.S. Treasury Department of Public Debt and the Federal Reserve administer the program in partnership with financial institutions.
U.S. Savings Bonds are safe, backed by the U.S. Government, affordable, and rate competitive. Bonds make a perfect gift for that special occasion and help to make saving easy and secure. Information on purchasing and redeeming U.S. Savings Bonds can be found at www.treasurydirect.gov
Redeeming savings bonds is another example of CorePlus Federal Credit Union's commitment to providing additional service to our membership.
We welcome you to stop by any of our offices to redeem your U.S. Savings Bonds today!
Over 4,085 Branches and Still Growing!
It's true! CorePlus offers our members access to over 4,085 branch locations nationwide and we're still growing. As a matter of fact, CorePlus members have access to a national branching network that rivals many of the largest financial institutions in the country. As a participant in the Credit Union Service Centers Network, you can perform transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, make loan payments, and much more, at participating shared service center locations.
To access the location of the nearest Shared Service Center location to you, log onto www.cuservicecenters.com. While you're there, be sure to print out driving directions. If you don't have access to an Internet connection while you're on the go, there's no need to worry. The most recent upgrade to the Shared Service Centers network is a new phone locator service. This service affords members the convenience of searching for a Service Center location by zip code or street address and obtain driving directions. A Spanish option is also available! You can access the phone locator service by calling 1-800-919-CUSC (2872)
