Select an approved contractor to work with, or have your contractor contact the Connecticut Green Bank to become approved. If multiple contractors are involved, designate one to manage the process as the general contractor.
Your contractor can assist in confirming that your planned improvements meet the Connecticut Green Bank’s eligibility guidelines.
Apply for a Smart-E Loan through CorePlus Credit Union before any project work begins.
Your contractor will submit the project details to the Connecticut Green Bank. After Connecticut Green Bank grants project approval, a CorePlus Credit Union representative will contact you to arrange the loan closing.
